About
Marianna's art is a heartfelt exploration of saudade, capturing the essence of longing and cherishing what may never return. Her subjects, often nude women amidst beachscapes, mirror her upbringing, where these scenes breathe freedom and self-acceptance. Through her lens, she offers women a sanctuary, where they can be themselves—nude yet empowered—liberated from the objectifying gaze that flows through the art world's current.
In reclaiming female artistic nudity from a woman's perspective, Marianna celebrates the beauty and strength of women, embracing their natural form in harmonious communion with nature. Each photograph, painting, and film she creates is a testament to this vision, offering an authentic portrayal of female sensuality and vulnerability, untouched by external judgment.
